Exams are booked through authorized testing partners across 75+ Indian cities.
Trusted & recognised worldwide
The shift
From Product Seller to Trusted Wealth Advisor
Talented professionals stall in wealth management for predictable reasons — and none of them are about intelligence.
No HNI-specific framework
Retail banking training does not prepare you for the complexity of high-net-worth planning.
Fragmented product knowledge
Equity, insurance, real estate, alternatives and taxation held in isolation rather than one strategy.
No behavioral foundation
Without behavioral finance, even technically correct advice gets rejected.
Missing the credential employers screen for
A credential gap becomes a career ceiling.
CWM® closes each gap with one integrated curriculum — 20 units connecting markets, tax, law, insurance, behavioral finance, planning and portfolio strategy.
What is the Chartered Wealth Manager® designation?
CWM® is a professional certification in wealth management and financial planning, conferred through American Academy of Financial Management® global standards and delivered in India by AAFM® India. It is a designation, not just a course: you complete a structured curriculum, pass the certification exams, and earn the right to use the CWM® mark after your name.
Equity analysis, alternatives & AIFs, real estate valuation, behavioral finance, portfolio strategy, international tax, and wealth-tech & AI.
Who earns the CWM®?
Relationship managers & bankers
Move from selling products to advising portfolios. With 3+ years in BFSI, skip Level I entirely.
Financial planners & investment advisors
Extend a financial planning practice into holistic wealth management for affluent clients.
MF distributors & insurance advisors
Serve wealthier clients with a credential that signals advisory depth.
CAs & finance professionals
Add wealth management and financial planning to an existing practice.
MBA / B.Com / BBA students & graduates
Differentiate yourself in placements before you have experience to point to.
Stock brokers & equity advisors
Expand into holistic wealth, estate, and financial planning.
If you already work with clients' money - or intend to - CWM® is built for you. If you are looking for a basic personal-finance course, this program will be more than you need.
Our certifications open doors to top companies across the finance industry.
INDIA
INTERNATIONAL
In 2026, the market doesn't need more traditional bankers; it needs professionals who can think clearly and plan smartly. The CWM® designation is the most respected wealth management qualification in India, designed to help you work independently and confidently in a crowded market.
The CWM® course helps you gain the skills required to successfully handle today’s difficult and fast-growing wealth management landscape. In this course, you will not just get videos, but a step-by-step career guidance to master the art of managing super high net worth portfolios.
AI based portfolios: learn how technology helps in choosing and handling investments wisely.
Global Market Intelligence: Understand international regulations that affect investments worldwide.
Ultra-wealthy client planning: Learn how to understand the needs, mindsets, and goals of very high-net-worth clients.
Risk Management strategies: Understand how to protect client wealth while aiming for steady and better returns.
Most professionals fail in wealth management not because
they lack intelligence, but because:
They do not use structured
wealth-management framework when studying finance
Concepts are still theoretical
rather than client applicable
Information about product, taxes,
and investments is fragmented
Long-term wealth strategies,
portfolios, and Individuals are not connected by a guided learning path
How we help you succeed:
This course addresses that by providing organized, concept-driven education journey that explain you how wealth management actually functions, the importance of each financial strategy, and how advisory decisions are made in real client scenarios.
A complete wealth management and financial planning skill set
Advise, not sell
Run the complete advisory process - discovery, analysis, planning, implementation, review - for affluent and HNW clients.
Construct portfolios
Apply asset allocation, risk-adjusted return measurement, and rebalancing across asset classes.
Plan across generations
Build plans spanning wills, trusts, HUFs, and succession - navigating Indian and international tax.
Use technology intelligently
Understand AI, robo-advisory, and algorithmic tools - and communicate recommendations that win trust.
